Completed Diploma Course in Fine Arts from Govt College of Arts and Crafts, Kolkata in 1961
1965 – 68: Selected as aScholar under the Scheme “The Exchange program of Scholars” between Yogoslavia and India
MA in Fresco painting and Mosaic from Academy of Fine Arts, Belgrade, Yogoslavia in 1967
MA in painting from above Academy in 1969
One month scholarship to visit “Mediaval Byzantine Monasteries” in Yogoslavia.
Experience and art shows
1969–1982 Worked as a freelance artist in Belgrade , Yogoslavia
1985–1990 Worked as a part time Lecturer in Visual Art Dept at Rabindra Bharati University , Kolkata
Group Shows
Several group shows in and Yogoslavia, 2 in and 1 in Stockholm .
Solo Shows
Solo shows in Vienna (organized by UNIDO Art Club), Berlin, Stockholm, Antwerp, Kamen, Mumbai (Twice at Tao and Jahangir Art Gallery ), Delhi ( Lalit Kala Academy), Kolkata (several times including Academy of Fine Arts and Birla Academy ), 7 times in Belgrade and several locations in Yogoslavia.
Member of the Artists Association of Belgrade, Yogoslavia
Paintings are found in private and public collections in Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad, Berlin, Vienna, London, Tokyo, Stockholm, Paris, Frankfurt, Los Angeles etc.
